Description

Cardace 2.5 tablet is an anti-hypertensive medicine that contains ramipril as its active ingredient. It belongs to the class of medicines called angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEI). It is used to treat high blood pressure and is also used to reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke. It prevents the formation of the chemical substance angiotensin II which is responsible for the constriction of blood vessels which in turn dilate the blood vessels. Thus, reducing the blood pressure. Take this medicine in doses and duration as prescribed by the doctor. It can be taken with or without food. Do not miss any dose or stop taking this medicine without informing your doctor.
