Ecosprin AV 75 capsule is a combination medicine. Ecosprin AV 75 capsule is used for the prevention of heart attack and stroke. It is also used for the treatment of abnormal cholesterol levels (dyslipidemia) in the body. Increased cholesterol often leads to the formation of plaques inside arteries and makes them narrow. This restricts the blood flow and can lead to the formation of blood clots and associated conditions such as heart attack and stroke. Ecosprin AV 75 contains a combination of cholesterol-lowering medicine atorvastatin and a low dose of aspirin that acts as a blood thinner. Ecosprin AV 75 capsule works by reducing the formation of cholesterol and inhibiting the formation of blood clots and thereby preventing heart attack and stroke.
